Community

One of the best things about life these days is our community of friends and support.  Quite possibly the single greatest phrase right now is, "I'm praying for you." It's something we've been hearing a lot lately and it's something that continues to give us hope as we move along this adoption journey.

I would like to just stop and say thank you.  Thank you for every word of encouragement.  Thank you for every prayer.  Thank you for every gift, every hug.

The Christian life is meant to be lived in community.  We can't do this on our own and we were never meant to.  In Acts when the Christians started banding possessions and resources together it wasn't because they were trying to create some Socialist or Communist environment.  It was because we need community to thrive.  We need people to pray for us constantly.  Every now and then we need someone to make us dinner.

So again, thank you guys for being that community to us (even our digital friends whom we've never met).
