even the grizzly parts...
So.... I'm ok. Steve's ok. We're all ok :). Yesterday's post was simply the product of a promise I made myself when I started this blog.... that I would be honest with where I was and what I was feeling... to a point yes but still honest. I'm not going to spell out every gory detail of a breakdown or anything but I will be honest when it's a hard day.... and Monday was a hard day...we all have hard days :)
So now that that's past... last night ended on such an amazing note. Monday night Steve had to work until o'dark thirty and we really didn't get to see each other past waking and sleeping. So tonight we both got home around 4:30, had some Panera and headed out to take a walk. We like walks. We like getting out and just wandering around our area... well some of our area. Last night we took the dogs with us and it was such a fun time of letting them play and laughing. It makes me stop and thank God so much for the man that he gave me. Steve knows how to respond to me... he knows how to handle me... he knows how to love me. I love where we are right now in life... even the grizzly parts. I love how caught up he is in the adoption stuff... I love that he can't wait to be a daddy!
OH! That reminds me of an announcement I forgot to make... our time line has changed. I know those that have followed this blog over the last year have always heard "when July comes we'll be starting" yadda yadda but that has changed. I will be out of the country for 3 weeks between June and July and the more we prayed, thought and talked about it the more we realized it was time. So in May we will be turning in our application to adopt... why not now you ask? Well life's a little busy until after Easter. But the first week of May it's on!
So a lot of you have told us at different points that you pray for us... well here's a specific prayer request we need you to lift up. We completely know that God is going to provide the way to adopt and that he is telling us to move up the timeline. Please pray that the funds match that timeline as well!
