A Few of Our Favorites
Since we're not "really" blogging today... here are some things we love, like and must have on a regular basis. Feel free to totally skip todays post... or DON'T and maybe discover that thing you've always been looking for... the choice is yours... MUAHAHAHAHA
Home Improvement Ideas:
I (Katie) love, love LOVE looking at how different people decorate, etc. Since our house is pretty tiny we are having to come up with new and interesting ways to deal with storage issues.
Young House Love has been and amazing place we've gone to get inspired, change our minds or convince ourselves we can.
Another site we go to is Ana White Homemaker . This woman has put all of these designs and plans on her blog for how to build different pieces of furniture etc... it is truly a wealth of knowledge and all FREE!!
Food:
Pampatike Hill Farms has seriously the best meat (beef) you can find anywhere. We have been buying from them for two years now and have been so blessed. Yes I am saying blessed in regards to meat. Their meat is all grass-fed and completely natural. There are no hormones and with a lot of my health challenges that is a big deal!!! They are at Yorktown Farmer's Market every Sat. You should def. check them out!!!
Local Honey!!! We buy our honey from Rich Antcliff and it is so good! I had never had local honey before we bought it this summer and it was such a difference from what we buy in the store... PLUS local honey actually is proven to help with allergy problems!!
Music:
We've been trying to find new music lately. Things that inspire us and make us want to write. Here are two of our favorites right now:
All Sons and Daughters:
All the Poor and Powerless from Journey Franklin on Vimeo.
Rend Collective Experiment
Creative:
I mentioned yesterday that I am just obsessed with Etsy. If you don't know what Etsy is it's a community of people who sell their goods online. Everything has to be either created by you or vintage. So there is a HUGE variety of things to be found there. Here are just a few of the things I've loved!!!
Lastly this blog has been my favorite read lately. She puts adoption in such a perfect light and I love reading about her life and adventures!!
And that is the end of my favorite things session... updates on adoption next week... let's pray they're positive!
be blessed!
